Our Client is a fast growing supplier of high quality products for the UK commercial construction sector. They are looking for a self-motivated professional with strong sales and project management skills.

Key Role:

As a Sales Executive you will proactively generate your own new enquiries. Convert projects in your area into orders by effective & systematic project management. Be a subject matter expert in their industry and range.

Duties As a Sales Executive are:

  • Negotiate and close sales by following up all quotations with key decision makers such as building contractors, architects, quantity surveyors, local authorities and end users, in a timely manner.
  • Grow your sales area by proactively targeting their market sectors.
  • Develop new and repeat business opportunities by efficient management of leads generated from marketing activity.
  • Proactively schedule specification appointments with architects and local authorities to showcase our clients brands.
  • Offer technical support throughout a project to best assist our customers in determining the right specifications and products to use on their projects.
  • Be the voice of their company, show a general interest in their products, act professionally at all times to their internal and external customer’s.

Attributes Of a Sales Executive are:

  • Be a good team player and enjoy working in a team environment.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and establish trust with existing and new clients.
  • Ability to work in a structured way, independently and as a team member to achieve targets and deadlines.
  • Strong administrative, planning and organisational skills.
