Job Title: Sales Executive / Business Development
Salary: Up to £30,000 + comms
Location: Blackpool
Our client based in Blackpool is currently looking for experienced Sales / Business Development Executives to join the growing team. Ideal candidate will come from a utilities background or appointment setting role. This is working with some of the largest companies in the UK building strong relationships to eventually convert into sales.
This position is based in the sales team and reports to the Sales Manager. The role will involve outbound prospecting (email, telephone, social media etc.) and using Account-Based-Sales (ABS) techniques to build a network of relationships to enhance your sales pipeline.
Key long-term responsibilities will be to reach out to new contacts and develop an understanding of their needs, then work with the wider team to educate these prospects about the services, develop proposals and win new business.
Experience:
- Be a sociable, great conversation starter.
- A high degree of self-motivation, interested in learning and sharing your knowledge.
- A crafter of engaging emails and user of LinkedIn as a source of networking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience in a sales, business development or client facing environment.
- Be able to perform excellent research to identify how our solutions meets the needs of a potential customer.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team and wider business to develop and implement effective strategies for driving sales growth.
- A tenacious, resilient approach to your role driven by the targets set by the business.
- The ability to absorb new information quickly
