Are you looking to propel your career as a Sales Engineer? Brand new role through year-on-year company growth - driving forwards a huge product portfolio of technical instrumentation and hand-held test equipment and associated software solutions into a variety of engineering and industrial sectors. We are a distributor for some of the biggest and best manufacturers in the NVH arena.

BASIC SALARY: Up to £50,000 dependant on your experience

LOCATION: Office based in Bedford initially for your training then split office / hybrid if you want, covering Birmingham and Southern England.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Engineer, Technical Sales - Instrumentation, NVH

Once you've completed your in-house and manufacturer-based training (UK and Europe) you'll split your time between home / office / customer sites as a Sales Engineer managing your own diary, visiting customers 2 or 3 days a week covering Birmingham and Southern England.

Our product sales value range from £5000-£150,000 (£30,000 AOV). 80% of our turnover is from exclusive distributor sales for manufacturers.

Own customer base includes Automotive and Aerospace OEM's, Tier 1, Construction, Power Generation, Research Laboratories, Universities, Acoustic Consultancies, Audio industry (think manufacturers of speakers / headphones). Who else can you help us break into?

You’ll be supported by an excellent technical support, applications, and internal sales team.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Engineer, Technical Sales - Instrumentation, NVH

· Generate new business, handle inbound enquiries, attending exhibitions, self-generate leads, networking, digital marketing campaigns
· Managing your own diary
· Booking face to face meetings (existing / new) to present our product portfolio, introduce service offerings and demonstrate our hardware and software solutions
· After sales support offering maintenance, service contracts and calibration

YOUR BACKGROUND: Sales Engineer, Technical Sales - Instrumentation, NVH

· You’ll have a solid B2B sales / business development background within hardware or software products / solutions or similar - it could be anything from hand held test equipment / instrumentation to NDT or NVH equipment
· You’ll have sold into engineers or technical people within a manufacturing, consultancy, research establishments or engineering environments
· You’ll be technically minded either through your qualification(s) or your practical sales experience
· You’ll be open to learning our extensive product portfolio
