Head of Sales - National Travel - Global Logistics & Distribution

Must live within a commutable distance of Ruislip or the Mildands area

Salary C: to £100k - £116k ( Inclusive of Car Allowance) + Bonus & Benefits ( OTE £160k )

Our Client is a Large Organisation within the International Express Distribution sector

The Person

Managing a team of 5 , Reporting to the MD, you will be a dynamic, innovative Sales Director with an entrepreneurial style, with a passion for New Business Generation and leading a team to be the best of the best

You will have good solid experience of leading successful sales teams to over achieve their targets and enjoy the success of their rewards.

· Well above average written and verbal communication skills

· Proven as a self-starter, fast-learner, and agent of change

· Proficiency across a variety of selling methodologies, with existing track record of coaching or teaching these skills

The role

· Your Sales Team will be driven by a passion for sales and success and you will guide them, motivate them and support them through the full sales cycle

· You will monitor calls, appointments and sales and make sure your team are performing and achieving their targets and Kpi’s

· You will constantly be developing the sales strategy and execution and driving the business forward

· This incredible opportunity is focused on leading, coaching and mentoring a team of Sales individuals selling the fantastic business service they offer

· As a highly visible leadership position within the region, the role requires an individual who has demonstrable experience of consistent sales leadership.

· You will demonstrate a strong ability to drive account development, pipeline generation activities and manage an equitable territory distribution model where team members each have the opportunity to achieve their sales goals. You will also be highly capable of developing and managing executive relationships by conducting business driven discussions, whilst also lead negotiation planning and an escalation point for your team.

Responsibilities

· Actively coach, support, and lead a sales team around account coverage, territory management, demand generation and opportunity execution

· Articulate business values to executives and build relationships that drive deals to a successful conclusion

· Shape deal strategy to create new opportunities where none previously exist

· Effectively position unique value proposition in a highly competitive market

· Cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with strategic partners

Experience

· Experience within the International Express Distribution marketplace.

· Demonstrable results in leading teams within complex, team-based sales environments

· Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment

· Experience in managing a team of highly skilled opportunity-creating and business-transformational Sales Executives
