Are you a looking to join a business on a journey of growth? Are you passionate about the events sector? Our client is an award winning, events production company based in London, who are looking for an experienced Sales Director to provide a "recipe" of sales development to spearhead their organisation in doubling its turnover.

  • Sales planning & strategy along with reporting for the company's sales activities
  • Managing the appropriate target for yourself and members in the account management team
  • Plan the marketing and communications strategies for marketing on specific areas of Showcase and for different audiences and mediums.
  • Manage and control company CRM system and automated connections the system links to
  • Manage and control existing Marcom agencies that are appointed by the business
  • Oversee/control tone of voice and company brand perception
  • Attend networking and trade events to generate sales activity
  • Manage and develop the key accounts existing and new
  • Attend new business meetings
  • Managing set personal targets set by MD
  • Monitor and manage all tender portals and key tender submissions
  • Generate leads from a cold call basis
  • Hold & control sales & company meetings
  • Attend client meetings for any key projects and development of account
  • Attend project meetings with Operations team for project handovers
  • Liaising with Operations Director on key account reporting from & sales and delivery perspective
  • Attend site visits, on site management where appropriate to complexity of project and post production financial analysis

Initially, you will be leading a team of 4, but you will have a remit to hire additional headcount straightaway.

The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate a successful track record in business development.

Candidates can be based anywhere in the UK, however occasional work in the London office is required.
