Salary per annum £30K to £35K plus commission - hybrid working role 3 days in the office

Looking for a sales career in the Renewable Energy, Sustainability & Net Zero sector?

This client is a scale up business that helps commercial property owners with the strategy and implementation to convert unused space for renewable energy (Solar PV). They help commercial property owners and their tenants to cut electricity bills, meet de carbonisation targets and to have a positive impact on staff, local communities and PLC shareholders in line with ESG compliance targets set by government and industry globally.

As a BDE you will be generating qualified sales appointments for the BDM's. Engaging via phone, email and social media with an existing database of warm and cold leads to create sales Qualified Leads (SQL) as well as qualifying Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL). Engaging with decision makers you will be educating potential clients about the benefits of the solution and discovering how this could help them reduce energy costs but also the added benefit that this value add would ave for their tenants. Setting up qualified appointments for the senior sales team, you will be generating new sales opportunities to shadow as they go through the sales process.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing business in a fast growth and very topical sector that is on everyone's commercial agenda currently. You will likely have already had 6 to 24 months experience in an SDR or BDE role already and have been looking for an opportunity to break into the sustainability and renewable sector that gives you career moves into a BDM role in the next 2 years. You have an engaging personality and have strong communications skills both written and verbal.
