Job Overview


The Sales Development Coordinator is responsible for contacting prospective customers with a
view to nurture to a successfully qualified lead with a schedule initial meeting for the Senior Client
Account Managers or News Business Development Managers. The Sales Development
Coordinator should have a positive, assertive personality and the ability to coordinate multiple
schedules.

growth opportunity, this may be the role for you. The role will be to reach out and engage potential customers to create new sales opportunities and pipeline for the sales team. To accomplish this, you will work closely with the
marketing and sales teams to build strong partnerships across the company's portfolio.

Job Description

* Working in office with you will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to helping
each other hit goals
* Continuously engage pipeline activity through follow-up communications with potential
customers and prospects
* Leveraging a variety of outreach tools such as phone, email, and social platforms
(LinkedIn) to develop interactions with potential customers
* We encourage creativity and strategic thinking when it comes to outbound prospecting
campaigns (emails, cold calls, video-mails, events) to generate leads on well-identified
target markets.
* Identifying the key decision makers and determining how we can solve their challenges.
* Converting outbound and inbound leads into qualified meetings for the sales team.
* Managing data in our CRM (Hubspot), ensuring all communications are logged and kept
up to date.
* Sharing ideas and best practices with the team to contribute to growth.
* Achieving and exceeding weekly/monthly metrics (meetings scheduled, opportunities
created, etc)
* Support the proposal stages with bid preparation and information gathering.
* Develop and maintain an intuitive knowledge base for request for information and tender
requirements

Key skills, experience, qualifications:

  • 1 year of professional experience in sales, customer service, marketing or other related fields
  • with a strong interest in impacting customer solutions
  • A positive and energetic approach
  • Outgoing personality who is self motivated to ensure they thrive
  • The ability to organise & prioritise your workload independently with the flexibility to
  • easily adapt to change Ability to think on your feet in a conversation- ask and answer questions with ease
  • Able to learn tools, technology and processes quickly
  • A "never stop learning" mentality and can apply it daily
  • Tenacity and determination, someone who wants to prove themselves.
  • Excellent, communication & listening skills
