Lodge Initiatives are looking for a Sales and Purchasing Administrator to join our team based in Sandycroft, Flintshire. You'll join us on a part-time, permanent basis working 20 hours per week and in return you will receive a competitive salary of £15,000 per annum plus monthly performance-based bonus scheme.

About the Sales and Purchasing Administrator role: 

Reporting to the UK Sales Manager and working closely with the wider Sales, Purchasing and Import Team, you will be trained and supported to develop your existing skills and knowledge in all three key areas of our business, and you’ll be at the heart of keeping everything organised, up to date, and running smoothly.

You will also benefit from:

  • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • 4 day working week throughout Mon, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
  • Permanent contract, working 9.00am to 2.00pm

Key responsibilities of the Sales and Purchasing Administrator role: 

  • Raising invoices and purchase orders
  • Following up on outstanding orders
  • Liaising with existing and new customers, along with suppliers
  • Arranging freight transport for goods to our customers in the UK, and from our suppliers in Europe
  • Responsibility for administering all paperwork for the freight and customs clearance of all imported goods.
  • Ensuring colleagues, customers and computers systems are updated regularly

What we are looking for in our Sales and Purchasing Administrator:

  • A background in Sales or Purchasing Administration in a busy commercial environment, ideally within business to business (B2B)
  • Demonstratable experience with both customer service and supplier interaction
  • A passion and aptitude for developing a career within sales, purchasing and business administration in a busy office environment
  • Accurate and timely data entry skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • IT literate with a good working knowledge of spreadsheet software such as Excel or Google Sheets
  • Superb communication skills, with an outgoing personality and an eagerness to succeed in a dynamic and progressive business development culture
  • Although not essential, experience of a European Language or multilingual communications using translation software would be advantageous
