The Company:
A long-standing destination management company with an office in West London and key operations across Europe
Main Duties:
To be a travel product specialist and use knowledge to increase customer sales.
The Role:
- To use specialist destination knowledge to increase customer sales
- To research and develop innovative products in both new and existing destinations
- To ensure existing products are kept up to date and in line with market trends
- To follow up on enquiries and create new opportunities with new clients
- To negotiate suppliers’ contracts and terms of business to ensure product profitability
- To create bespoke travel packages and itineraries and provide competitive quotations
- To follow up for feedback from clients and adjust product accordingly to ensure quality
- To manage operations for designated accounts and complete necessary administration
- To provide on tour support
The Candidate:
- Experience in a Destination Management Company (DMC) - Essential
- Fluency in a second European language would be beneficial
- Excellent attention to detail and able to work under pressure
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to situations
- Proactive, confident and dynamic personality
- IT literate
The Salary: up to £38,000 per annum depending on experience
