Sales and Lettings Administrator
Location: Southend - Head Office
Salary: £neg
Hours: 9-5.30pm
Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays
Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Department Managers you will be providing exemplary levels of customer service for our clients and customers. You will assist all aspects of sales and lettings processes, reporting maintenance issues of properties, along with general administration.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Arranging and assisting with property inspections
- Arranging and conducting property viewings
- Liaising with and updating landlords / vendors regularly
- Cross-selling departments
- Securing new Business
- Assisting with KPI and monthly reporting
- Ensuring the company’s adherence to all relevant legislation
- Assisting with property auditing and compliance
- Assisting with all aspects of a new tenancy, including document preparation, referencing, check in/out, tenancy checks, Inventory checks and receipt of all necessary funds
- Negotiating rent increases at renewal stage & issuing renewal documentation
- Ensure internal systems regularly updated
- Assistance with any maintenance issues that arise
- Diary Management
- Chasing arrears
Person Spec:
- Confidence will be key, as you will need to be effective in managing the needs and expectations of our clients.
- Candidates will be well-presented and self-motivated.
- A real team player, you will possess emphatic interpersonal and communication skills.
- You’ll also be very well experienced with IT, namely Microsoft Office.
- To be considered for the role, you must have previous experience with administration. Lettings experience also being desirable.
- Flexibility in your role will be important, as some overnight stays may be required for properties that are further afield.
- A full, clean driving licence is essential.
