Sales Administrator - Hardware, IT Systems, Software Licensing.

£25,000 - £27,000 + Excellent Additional Benefits.

Liverpool, Merseyside, Northwest - Hybrid, 3 days in the office a week, 2 days at home.

Applause IT are looking for a Sales Administrator to join a leading Construction Security Access and Workforce Management Systems company. It will be your responsibility to support Account Managers and the Sales team with administrative duties. The role will require you to handle new customer enquiries, ensuring essential information is collected, sourcing follow-up details, and either forwarding opportunities to Sales or providing direct quotations.

You will also be required to support the Account Management team in forecasting, creating quotations and other general customer service responsibilities, ensuring enquiries are answered in a timely manner.

The role:

  • Using the company's CRM system to manage current accounts, including preparing quotes, forecasting, and other general pipeline management.
  • Take proactive steps to follow up on all submitted leads to confirm that the client has received the proposal, assess their interest, and gather feedback.
  • Providing administrative support, such as, document preparation, travel bookings, etc.
  • Review of internal reports
  • Organising internal Account Meetings, gathering data, and liaising with other departments.
  • Act as a representative for Account Managers in internal meetings when they are unavailable to attend.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a Sales Administration position, preferably within a Software House, IT Services company, or security equipment vendor.
  • Prior experience in using a CRM system, utilising this for pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Applications, such as, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
