My client is looking for a talented Sales Administrator to join their team. Based in their head office in Chadderton, the successful candidate will be supporting our client’s team of Account Managers and acting on all sales functions.

About the successful candidate...

  • Proven sales experience in a similar role (does not need to be within engineering)
  • Excellent customer service skills, enjoy speaking to customers and building relationships.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Be able to work independently (training on all systems will provide and no prior experience using our internal systems is required)

Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be managing the quotation administration, liaising with customers daily regarding quotations and service delivery, initiating visits where required to customers from our Account Managers and managing the company’s social media. As an integral member of the sales team, you will assist customers with their enquiries and direct enquiries where needed to other departments.

Quote Administration

  • Enter quote enquiries into our bespoke ERP system, send completed quotations to customers and follow up with customers at regular intervals regarding quotations.
  • Process orders once received handing over to the planning and production teams.

Customer Management

  • Supporting the Account Managers, you will keep in regular contact with customers to check on requirements, offer service visits if required and help maintain relationships with our customers.
  • Listen to feedback from customers, share this information with the Account Managers and through monthly sales meetings to help improve our service.

Marketing & New Sales Opportunities

  • Manage the company’s social media platforms. Sharing company news and updates as well promoting our services and recent completed work.
  • Source new sales opportunities through social media channels, offering our service and arranging visits for Account Managers where relevant.
  • Prepare sales packs for new business appointments.

Sales Data Management

  • Maintain reports regarding quotations and sales for monthly sales meetings.
  • Integral part of monthly sales meetings, providing an overview of performance on quote conversions, feedback from customers and overall sales data to assist with account management planning and future strategies.

Administration Functions

  • Answering initial calls into the sales office, handling customer enquiries and directing calls to other departments if required.
