Sales Account Manager - Hazardous Waste (SE UK territory)

Location: South East England/Central Midlands

Salary: £42,500 plus car and bonus (c£10-12K pa)

Are you a proven sales person with a knowledge of Hazardous Waste Management and chemistry? Are you looking to join a market leading organisation who have invested heavily in waste management technologies and can provide customers with a broad range of solutions to their hazardous waste.

This is a field based role with 4-days on the road and 1 day (home or office based for sales admin and preparation. The successful candidate will be a strong business developer with an ability to build and nurture customers to grow sales. You’ll be working within a collaborative and cross functional team to provide a broad range of solutions to customers as well as networking to identify business leads for other parts of the business.

Our client is looking for enthusiastic candidates with the following:

  • Proven hands-on technical sales (ideally Hazardous Waste)
  • Good working knowledge of hazardous waste management
  • Chemistry background (BSc/HND or similar) preferred but a working knowledge of chemistry associated with hazardous waste is essential
  • Full UK driving licence and an ability to be on the road 4 days a week (occasional overnight stays)
  • Ambitious & proactive
  • Ability to build relationships (internal and external)
  • Fluent in English
