A Local Authority based in the West Midlands is seeking experienced Safeguarding Social Workers and in order to attract candidates they are offering exclusive rates

Highlights:

  • Exclusive Rates for Experienced Social Workers
  • Regular case and personal supervision - All Social Workers are guaranteed 1:1 supervision with their manager every 4 weeks.
  • Supportive Team - Have team meetings at least once per fortnight and group supervision, guest speakers and peer review is part of these meetings on rotation.
  • Development - Full service meetings, learning sessions and team away days throughout the year.
  • Accessible Managers - Team managers are always contactable, visible and approachable, as is the service manager. There is also a Duty Manager available to respond to crisis daily

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Social Workers to boost their earnings whilst still receiving a high level of support. This post is based within a Local Authorities Safeguarding service which works with children under a CIN/CP plan. The Local Authority have a separate Court Team which deals with the heavy Court Work so the main objective of this team is to keep families together and keep children safe by completing direct work and helping to direct services and resources to service users.

The post also offers Hybrid working and the general approach to this is that those Social Workers who are experienced and able to manage their time well are able to work from home flexibly offering you the chance to save time and money travelling to and from the office.

To be considered for this post and the higher rate you should have extensive experience within a front line Social Work team.
