Safeguarding Practice Lead

This is a great opportunity to work for this West Country Local Authority and to carry out the following duties:

• To provide expertise to Child Protection and Child in Need services around decision making and thresholds
• To provide respectful and appropriate challenge around decision making practice and support development To ensure development of effective CP chair scrutiny of plans with a focus on outcomes focussed planning
• To provide additional support to managers re practice (although this is not an operational role) To support development of Strengths based Conference approach
• To support development of documentation, systems and recording as needed for conferences and all plans To review practice, policies and procedures to support developments needed so that these are aligned
