Rust Protocol Engineer - Layer 2
Up to $245,000

We are partnered with a Layer-2 protocol using zero-knowledge proof to scale Ethereum. You would join the Core founding Team which is responsible for the development of their protocol and works at both Layer-1 and Layer-2.

The successful Senior Protocol Engineer will:

  • Design and implement a smart contract platform
  • Develop at L1 and L2 (system contracts and server-side changes)
  • Advance the protocol through research, design, prototyping and engineering
  • Research independently within your area of specialism


We are looking for the following skills and experiences for the Senior Protocol Engineer:

  • Strong understanding of Ethereum / EVM
  • Expertise with Solidity and Rust
  • Knowledge and implementation of algorithms and data structures
  • A Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
  • Experience in cryptography is bonus
