Calling all Russian-speaking housekeepers who are passionate about delivering exceptional service in a prestigious private household setting!

Silver and bow have a brand-new opportunity for a detail-oriented Russian-speaking Housekeeper to join an existing team of 5 in a semi-formal and fully staffed, state-of-the-art property in Kensington. The housekeepers will primarily focus on tasks at the main house, with an additional 2 days per week spent at two private apartments just a 5-minute walking distance away.

The ideal candidate for the role should take pride in their work, possess a combination of team working and independence, along with a deep understanding of product knowledge and proper care methods for delicate materials and fine furnishings.

This role presents an exciting chance to demonstrate your expertise and dedication to provide the highest level of service for the family, ensuring the property is well-maintained and all requirements are met.

Duties to include:

  • Daily housekeeping duties to an exceptional standard

  • Dusting and polishing

  • Washing and ironing

  • Making beds and changing of bed linens

  • Care of art, fine furniture, marble, silverware, china, glass and crystal

  • Wardrobe management

  • Packing and unpacking

  • Travel with the principal

  • Light services and any ad hoc tasks requested (errand running, dry cleaners)

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Russian and English language

  • Previous experience in a 5-star hotel or similar private household setting

  • Highly organised with flexibility and willingness to go the extra mile

  • Excellent understanding of the appropriate products and methods for taking care of fine furniture, marble, china, glass and silk.

  • Strong laundry skills, particularly with fine fabrics

  • Superb attention to detail and exacting hygiene standards

  • Ability to travel with the principals

  • Must be comfortable working around cats

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

  • Right to work in the UK

Hours/days: 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

On average, working 2 weekend days per month, on a flexible rota with the other members of staff and this will be paid as overtime.

Salary: £42k gpa plus paid overtime
