We are recruiting for a Change and RTR Accountant to take responsibility for the execution of Record to Report ("RTR") EMEIA tasks within the my client's Finance function in accordance with the Group Policies, IFRS and local GAAP requirements, agreed service level agreements and key performance indicators.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Execution of RTR transactions and reports.
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Preparation of local compliance work, including but not limited to statutory accounts and VAT and tax periodic returns.
  • Responding to a significant number of ad hoc queries, and analysis as required, prioritising work effectively to ensure that these queries are responded to on a timely basis.

In order to be successful you will need:

  • Undertaking a professional accounting qualification e.g. ACA, CA, ACCA or CIMA.
  • Experience in applying IFRS or local accounting GAAP is required.
  • SAP training and certification is desirable. Advanced Excel skills with experience of building and working with complex models and large data sets.
  • Worked within a multicurrency environment, analysing and understanding the impact of movements in exchange rates on reported results is desirable.
