We are supporting a secondary school in Lowton/Warrington who are recruiting for a temporary humanities teacher on a full time basis. The position is to start after Easter and will be long term until July if successful.

The Successful teacher will be asked to teach Geography, History and Religious Education to key stage 3 & 4 classes of varying academic abilities.

· Minimum rate of pay - £120
· Hours - 8:15 am - 4pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Degree educated with a good classification, (desirable to be in a humanities based subject)
· Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed., QTS, etc) in Geography, History or RE
· Previous experience teaching History to young people (which we can reference)
· Experience of teaching in a UK Secondary School (which we can reference)
· Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, training can be provided)
· Up to date prevent awareness training that is issued in the last 3 years (essential, training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced DBS certificate that is on the update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide at least two professional child related references to cover the last two years
