Our client, a global music company, is seeking a Royalty Coordinator for a five-month temporary contract within their finance department. The Royalty Coordinator will be interfacing with key artists and using high levels of accuracy to undertake the caseloads.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Preparing quarterly and six-monthly royalty statements.
• Conducting regular review and management of suspense accounts.
• Interpreting and implementing artist recording agreements to the royalty system.
• Managing new release set up to ensure beneficiary management with full label copy.
• Ensuring new products are set up correctly on the royalty system with correct participants.
• Liaising with internal teams to obtain information needed.
• Liaising with financial planners to ensure accurate recoupable cost information is obtained.
• Supporting the Royalty Supervisor on an ad hoc basis.
• Contributing to the Royalty Accounting Guidelines.
• Serving as an initial point of contact for Artist Managers.
Requirements:
• High levels of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisational skills, able to be accountable for own workload.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of suspense accounts, their review and management.
• Able to contribute to project work, audit reviews and complex queries.
• Attained good academic grades to a minimum A-level standard.
