Your new company
You'll be working for a family-owned private construction, development, and property services company in the UK, working alongside their high performing maintenance team.
Your new role
You will be working on a responsive maintenance contract for an already existing social housing provider, covering the areas of Southport, Ormskirk, Burscough and Skelmersdale. Duties include carrying out your core trade of roofing.
You'll be required to carry out the following duties:
- Undertake repair/renewal roofing works
- Communicate effectively with the scheduler, residents and line manager
- Work safely and in compliance with Health & Safety and safeguarding requirements
- Remain up-to-date with technical and legal requirements of skill area
- Work in partnership with other operatives to complete repairs when required
- Complete work sheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job undertaken, via a PDA
What you'll need to succeed
Essential:
- NVQ Level 2 in Roofing
- Experience working in social housing
- Full UK Driving License
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a full-time, permanent contract with a competitive annual salary of £31,000 - £33,000 along with holiday and pension benefits. You will also receive a company van and fuel card to carry out daily duties.
