Robotics Software Engineer Description

Syntech recruitment are currently recruiting for a Robotics Software Engineer for our client based near Farnborough.
Working within the UK Robotics Development Centre, you will be writing code and testing sensors and scanners such as 2D & 3Dlidar scanners and cameras.


Robotics Software Engineer requirements

  • 1-3 year's experience in Robotics Development
  • Knowledge of C++ Application development is required
  • Experience and knowledge of standard robotics sensors such as lidars, scanners and cameras
  • Knowledge of image capture and pointcloud manipulation
  • Understand architecture of applications, their design, construction and development

Qualifications and Skills required

  • BSc Degree or equivalent in Robotics Software Engineer or equivalent
  • C++ experience is required
  • Experience with GIT is ideal
  • Good Communication and Coordination knowledge and skill in high quality software engineering practices e.g. code structuring, testing, analytical and problem solving
