Robot Process Engineer

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and collaborative Robot Process/Application Engineer to join our inclusive team in Coalville. This full-time Robot Process Engineer role comes with a generous salary and benefits package, including the chance to work internationally.

As a Robot Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing innovative surface finishing solutions for our clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with customers to develop tailored surface finish solutions using specialist processes and tools
• Researching and experimenting with advanced robotic technology to explore new standards in surface finishing
• Utilising the company's bespoke CAD/CAM package to write and develop polishing programs, set up tools, and refine processes for new applications
• Working with a diverse range of materials, including exotic alloys like Inconel, across various industry projects
• Assisting in the installation and setup of robotic solutions at customer premises, including conducting factory acceptance tasks

• An advanced modern apprenticeship or equivalent in CNC machining or mechanical engineering
• Proficiency in advanced machining operations such as milling and turning
• Some experience with robotics is beneficial, and an interest in robotics is essential
• Experience with metrology, including CMMs (advantageous)
