Summary
We have a brand-new role for a Risk Analyst with a large company, with an office in Central Manchester, close to major transport links.
The main objective of the Risk Team is to support the objectives through proactive identification, reporting, analysis and control of operational risks across the business. In this role you will be expected to continually liaise with stakeholders across commercial and operations; ensuring that key analysis and information is available and appropriately coordinated throughout the business.
This position would suit someone with some experience, but we aren't looking for loads. You will be working directly with a highly experience team and Director therefore there is a really good learning opportunity.

This is a company we have worked with for many years and placed numerous people into their data & analytics departments. It's a large company with significant operations in the UK and Europe.
They offer all positions on a hybrid basis with 2 days a week in the office but can be fairly flexible in timings. The company have a huge amount of investment, to grow their operations - its really the perfect time to join.
Your responsibilities / accountabilities in this role will be:
In this role you will be expected to deliver clear analysis and opinion, supported by understanding of key operational processes and you will proactively manage controls analysis and focus on pragmatic rectification, prioritizing of risk and applying appropriate resolution actions.
- Operation of key daily and weekly operational risk controls and monitoring processes.
- Respond to incidents timely, drafting details of incidents accurately following investigation and administration of the incident management system.
- Support in producing operational risk content and materials for monthly and ad-hoc management reporting.
- Providing independent analysis on risk and control aspects of the incident to provide appropriate recommendations, capture all action details, track statuses and record resolutions.
- Support implementation of key change projects for the Enterprise and Operational risk team
- Support in the development of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Risk & Control Self Assessments (RCSAs)
Requirements
- Experience in operational risk - from any sector.
- Excel skills - Power BI is useful.
