The Role Our client has a solid reputation as an exceptional consultancy in a number of locations in the South-East. Working mainly in the public sector, our team has a broad range of exciting projects including education, residential, public and community buildings. We have strong links to Local Authorities, County Councils and Housing Associations and have a robust reputation in successfully delivering projects in these areas. We are looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to join the Building Surveying Team at our Sidcup Office. We are looking to grow the Building Surveying Team and require a surveyor to join the team during this exciting time in working with new clients oninteresting projects. Have good working knowledge of scheduling, specification writing, preparation of tender documentation and contracts and be able to undertake the contract administration and Employer’s Agent duties for a variety of projects in different sectors.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in building condition surveys, measured surveys, defect analysis and preparation of formal reports; submission of building regulations and planning applications. Experience of aids and adaptations, party wall matters, DDA audits, auto CAD proficient and CDM regulations would be an advantage.

The Candidate

The candidate will ideally be qualified or hold a relevant degree and well progressed to obtaining their MRICS.

They should have good communication, management and team working skills.
Capable of working on their own initiative. Full clean driving licence and use of their own, road legal, vehicle. Salary packages will be offered to suit the candidates experience.
