The Role:

We have an opportunity within the Fixed Income RFP team for an intermediate/experienced RFP Writer to join our established team to support with the production of DDQs, RFPs, and RFIs for large scale Wholesale & Institutional opportunities.

We are looking for an individual with excellent written and oral communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a can-do, inquisitive and enthusiastic approach to RFP work.

This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to Firm's core flagship fixed income products and develop writing and interpersonal skills whilst working alongside a talented and supportive team .

Key Responsibilities for this role:
  • Delivery of high-quality RFPs RFIs and DDQs on M&G funds across the Wholesale and Institutional businesses.
  • Liaise with investment specialists, directors, content writers, compliance, performance and risk departments etc. and a variety of other sources within M&G to ensure responses are optimal and tailored appropriately.
  • Participate in wider team projects involving the content database (RocketDocs) as well as ad-hoc projects to build the team's profile around the business.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance current processes and controls and support in the improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in M&G's operational risk.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • 2 years + of experience of working in asset management in an RFP role and eagerness to learn about Investments.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills to manage multiple RFP projects simultaneously, whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail.
  • Good creative writing skills and good grammar/authoring; Ability to write in a clear, concise manner.
  • Confident liaising with stakeholders of varying seniority and the ability to build good working relationships by understanding needs and requirements.
  • Knowledge of Q&A databases is preferred (RocketDocs).
  • Proficient in the MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to write for multiple audiences and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage and control multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative to improve RFP processes and content.
  • Ideally IMC qualified or working towards this or other relevant qualifications.
