RF Engineer

My client is looking for an RF System Engineer who will be responsible for the top-level specification of the company’s phased arrays. This will involve system simulation, algorithm development and specification writing.

This company is an innovative technology company. Their core technology is patented low loss RF MEMS devices which are being applied to develop innovative solutions which help its customers reduce the cost and complexity of phased arrays for SATCOM and 5G.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate precise system requirements aligned with customer needs
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Design RF system board layout floorplans and strategies
• Lead board-level RF system integration and debugging
• Develop control algorithms for RF blocks
• Collaborate with Digital hardware and software teams for algorithm integration and validation
• Devise test and calibration strategies for array sub-assemblies

Qualifications, Experience:

• PhD or Master of Electrical Engineering
• RF and System Modeling expertise
• Algorithm creation for complex systems
• System integration, prototyping, and transfer to production

Desirable:

• PCB layout proficiency for complex systems
• Familiarity with link budget calculations
• Experience with simulation tools like Keysight SystemVue
• PhD or Masters in RF Systems or Communications Theory
