Reward Analyst

Location: Durham, DH1 1SL, Lytham St Anne’s, FY8 4TS, Glasgow, G2 8JX, City of Westminster, SW1 3BT

Salary: £46,000 - £55,000 per annum

Our client, one of the largest savings organisations in the UK with over 24 million customers and a history dating back over 150 years, is seeking a HR Reward Analyst. This role involves managing pay and reward systems across NS&I, serving as the primary contact for day-to-day pay and reward management, internal and external reporting, and NS&I’s job evaluation process. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Head of HR and People & Finance Director in implementing NS&I’s review of pay and reward.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing and maintaining the pay remit, coordinating job evaluation panels, and ensuring accurate recording of outcomes.
  • Leading the annual submission of the NS&I pay remit business case in accordance with Civil Service Pay Guidance.
  • Conducting market analysis and making salary recommendations based on incumbent position against the market.
  • Administering a range of benefits and managing supplier relationships.
  • Overseeing the Flexible Benefits system and resolving issues with suppliers.
  • Coordinating mid and end-year appraisal processes and managing the annual performance variable pay process.
  • Leading the implementation of NS&I’s review of pay and reward.
  • Producing external reports to provide accurate and timely statistics and MI to external stakeholders.
  • Delivering proactive HR service by ensuring smooth HR processes that meet business needs.

Technical Skills

  • Strong analytical skills using various data sources to present data clearly.
  • Experience in salary and bonus forecasting within designated budgets.

  • Experience in managing reward and employee benefits.
