Company Overview

You will be joining a very prestigious and highly regarded Law Firm as their Revenue Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis. Part of a sizeable finance team of over 40 people, you will report into the Revenue Manager and be supported by one Senior Revenue Controller, six Revenue Controllers, one E-Biller and eight Revenue Assistants. Based in their modern City of London office 3 days a week, you will have the option to work from home for the remaining two days.

Role Responsibilities

In your new role, you will be responsible for processing a high number of invoices each month, sending invoices to clients, ensuring that debt collection of invoices is undertaken in accordance with the credit control procedure, ensuring that queries raised are resolved in the appropriate timeframe and escalated to the appropriate individual and ensuring that all relevant information relating to unpaid invoices is recorded in the internal system.

Role Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally have 1-2 years of previous experience working as a Revenue Assistant, Biller or Credit Controller in a Professional Services environment. To be considered for this role, you will need to be a proactive, enthusiastic, self-motivated and driven individual with a willingness to learn and a collaborative approach. You will possess outstanding communication skills, a fantastic work ethic and a passion for numbers. You will be able to work as part of a close-knit team and also be confident working independently. Candidates will be educated to A-Level standard or equivalent and will be interested in furthering their education, for example studying towards AAT. Experience of Legal finance systems is desirable but not essential. Confidence with the use of Excel is essential.
