Studio PDP are looking for a revenue accountant/analyst to join its London practice. This role is responsible for an end to end revenue function from raising invoices and carrying out a credit control function. In addition the relevant candidate will partner up with senior members of the business to carry out various analysis on revenue streams as well as monitoring budgets and forecasts.

The role will suit someone who is working towards an accountancy qualification and who wants to make a positive impact on the smooth running of the Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the CMAP project accounting system

  • Produce monthly billing schedules and generate invoices from CMAP and Access, ensuring both systems are reconciled on an ongoing basis

  • Credit control function to ensure all invoices are paid on a timely basis 

  • Control and manage the monthly/quarterly Revenue forecasting and contribute to the cashflow forecasts

  • Liaise with the Partners and Associates to reconcile and ensure accurate forecasts and billing

  • Contribute to the month end and year end process

  • Contribute to the annual budgeting process

  •  Provide support to other members of the finance team where required

  • Work with HR to chase late timesheets

  • Monitor budgets and forecasts on a monthly basis, partnering with budget holders and analyse variances for management accounts purposes

  • Project analysis to assess profitability against budgets

  • Assist with ad hoc projects as required
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Part qualified ACCA/CIMA/AAT accountant, or qualified by experience

  • Good communication and numeracy skills

  • Natural attention to detail and ability to check own work for accuracy

  • Able to understand and work to deadlines

  • Able to multi-task and remain calm and well organised under pressure

  • A flexible and willing approach, along with good timekeeping and a commitment to the role

  • Understand the values of a professional services firm

  • Takes an interest in the work of the Practice

  • Excellent written and spoken English

  • Tech-savvy, strong on Microsoft office package(particularly Excel and Word)

  • Knowledge of Access Financials and CMAP a plus

  • Ability to grasp systems and identify potential improvements

  • Previous role(s) should include revenue accounting and analytical experience
