An exciting opportunity awaits for a Retrofit Surveyor to join our exceptional team in Greater Manchester at Great Places Housing Group. As the Retrofit Surveyor, you will be at the forefront of shaping sustainable housing futures. Your role will encompass conducting thorough surveys of housing stock, pinpointing energy efficiency opportunities, crafting innovative retrofit strategies, and overseeing project management. Collaboration with stakeholders, contractors, and residents will be key to ensuring the seamless execution of retrofit initiatives and driving impactful change within communities.

What you will be doing…

As a Retrofit Surveyor, you'll lead the transformation of properties through comprehensive planning, organisation, and management of each project, ensuring seamless execution from inception to completion.

You will offer informed guidance to consultants and contractors, ensuring they deliver top-quality results. Your expertise will guarantee effective risk management and quality assurance throughout the retrofit process, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.

Communication with customers will be paramount, ensuring their needs are met at every stage. You'll conduct thorough evaluations before and after works, enabling continuous improvement for future projects. Regular reporting on progress and achievements will uphold transparency and accountability.

We offer a competitive salary of up to £45,000 based on a 35 hour week, starting with 26 days annual leave increasing up to 30 days within 5 years, plus bank holidays!

What will you need?

  • Experience within the building or construction industry, with knowledge of energy efficiency measures and retrofit strategies. Surveying and project management skills are essential.
  • Customer focused, ensuring we deliver the very best for our customers in terms of service delivery and product quality.
  • Proactivity and solution focused approach! The service is continuously evolving and you will be an important part of moving this forward.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with previous experience handling data and extracting meaningful insights to inform strategic decisions.
