Shirebrook mainly, with some travel out to learner in West and East Midlands

As a Retail Trainer your primary task is to support and educate learners working towards Core Apprenticeship standard qualifications in their journey to a successful end point assessment.

Our client is a leading national training provider delivering Apprenticeship programmes throughout the UK. As an OFTSED Grade 2 'Good’ provider, they specialise in Apprenticeship training across a diverse range of Professional Services and Supply Chain & Logistics sectors including Leadership, Management, Freight Forwarding, and Customer Service..

Key Responsibilities & Objectives:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver workshops to the highest quality
  • Effectively teach the knowledge required for the apprenticeship standard
  • Coach apprentices in leadership skills by guiding, supporting, providing accountability and encouragement
  • Delivering Retail Team Leader, ILM modules
  • Visiting apprentices in the workplace, providing coaching and assessment
  • Supporting apprentices remotely to provide coaching and assessment via virtual learning platform
  • Establish positive working relationships with clients
  • To facilitate the enhancement of work performance, self-directed learning and personal development
  • Prepare, agree and review apprenticeship learning plans

You will:

  • Be highly motivated, persuasive, persistent and patient
  • Retail Management Experience
  • Experience delivering learning in a group setting
  • Assessor Award CAVA or TAQA Level 3, A1, D32/33 or equivalent
  • Driving Licence, Experience in delivering workshops
  • Have the ability to provide effective feedback
  • An excellent communicator
  • Have good administrative skills, be flexible, adaptable and be able to cope under pressure
  • Have significant relevant industry experience, Take part in regular CPD activities
