RESTAURANT MANAGER, required to join a prestigious venue in the Folkestone countryside area of Kent.

The Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, including a Sunday roast and dinner.

Transport is required due to location and the shifts required.

As Restaurant Manager, you will:

  • Oversee the smooth and efficient running of the Restaurant, maintaining and enhancing the dining standards, ensuring customers receive a seamless dining experience operating to an exceptionally high standard.

Experience for the role of Restaurant Manager:

  • Minimum 2 years Restaurant Management experience within a quality hospitality venue.
  • Managing staffing levels and rosters to efficiently meet occupancy levels and budgets.
  • Dealing with complaints and confidently provide a suitable resolution.
  • Experience of developing and training a team of 25 to 30 staff, to meet defined SOPs.
  • Maximising profit through upselling and team productivity.
  • Stock management and ordering.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Excellent Food & Beverage delivery knowledge.
  • Previous use of an electronic booking system.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Personal Qualities:

  • Strong leader with the ability to lead by example.
  • Ability to multi-task and use own initiative.
  • Meticulous approach to work with great attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of the ability to form and maintain good working relationships.
  • Calm under pressure, and able to deliver a high standard of customer service.
  • Able to drive a positive staff environment.

Contract details and benefits with this role:

  • This position is working 45 hours a week, 5 days out of 7, including holidays, evenings, and weekends as per the rota.
  • Competitive Salary, plus a share of the Service Charge in addition.
