We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Resourcing Officer to join an education trust supporting a team of schools.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting recruitment campaigns, managing vacancy advertisements, tracking applications, coordinating references, managing new starter processes, and building agency relationships.

£24 - £26,400 PA

Hybrid: 3 office 2 home

Hours: 09.00 - 17.00 Mon - Thu, 09.00 - 16.30 Fri
Lunch: 30min

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support recruitment campaigns for academic teaching, operational, and support positions
  • Write and manage vacancy advertisements
  • Track applications and prepare shortlisting and interview packs
  • Coordinate references for candidates
  • Manage new starter processes from offer to induction
  • Build and maintain agency relationships
  • Represent the trust at career fairs and engage with potential candidates
  • Update employee records and ensure compliance with GDPR regulations
  • Act as the professional face of the trust for potential talent and new starters
  • Monitor and advise on areas for improvement in recruitment processes

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Minimum GCSE C+ / 4+ in Maths and English
  • Excellent experience in customer service and care
  • Experience in an office environment
  • Experience in safeguarding children, young people, or vulnerable adults
  • Diary management and scheduling experience
  • Candidate screening and interviewing experience
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Highly organised with excellent administrative skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent prioritisation and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Ability to build effective working relationships and work well in a team
  • Good research skills for candidate attraction
  • Flexible with a positive attitude and ability to work independently
  • Full, clean driving license with access to own vehicle
