Resource Planner
We are recruiting an exciting opportunity to join an established and supportive company that design, manufacture and build temporary structures. The role offers excellent training and progression opportunities.
Role - Resource Planner
Salary - £28-34K
Hours - 9.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday (with flexibility to take occasional emergency calls out of hours)
Main Duties:
- Book, raise purchase orders for and assist in the procurement of items required to deliver projects such as accommodation, plant, tools and agency staff etc.
- Respond to any schedule changes in a timely and detailed manner.
- Assist in the maintenance and communication of the staff planner including changes.
- Manage clothing and PPE sourcing and distribution.
- Assist in managing required accreditation.
- Attending meetings.
- Assist with on-site emergency deliveries.
- Confirm and chase up all deliveries.
- Off-hire equipment in a timely manner.
- Assist in reconciling any purchase invoice queries
- Produce reports to track performance and utilisation of operational resources.
- Assist in clerical duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, preparing documents, presentations.
Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage change control
- A self-starter with the ability to plan your own work, use your initiative and meet deadlines
- The ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands and prioritise tasks and workload
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Confident telephone manner
- A strong team player with the ability to build good rapport with colleagues and suppliers
- Flexibility with working hours and ability to take occasional emergency calls out of hours
- Experience of working in an administration or resource planning role
