Licensed Conveyancer / Solicitor / Legal Executive

As a Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor, or Legal Executive, you will be responsible for providing legal support to the firms mortgage lender clients, as outlined below.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing various aspects of conveyancing, including first or second charge, lender-only or dual representation, and both individual and corporate mortgages.
  • Overseeing conveyancing for repossession and receiver sale transactions.
  • Thoroughly reviewing legal titles and conveyance documentation, followed by reporting findings to clients.
  • Identifying potential risks for clients and, whenever feasible, proposing effective solutions or risk mitigation strategies.
  • Addressing general legal inquiries from clients and team members.
  • Preparing occasional legal documents as required.
  • Facilitating communication and collaboration with clients, agents, brokers, borrowers, asset managers, buyers' and borrowers' solicitors, internal departments, and other relevant parties.
  • Utilizing case management systems on a daily basis for efficient workflow.
  • Providing assistance with departmental reporting, billing, and general administrative tasks when necessary.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proficiency in working under pressure while maintaining a keen eye for detail and meeting stringent deadlines.
  • The ability to strike a balance between commercial considerations and risk factors, offering well-informed and tailored advice.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, applicable to all levels of engagement.
  • A genuine team-oriented approach and the flexibility to adapt to changes in the department's workload, both in terms of nature and volume.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Possession of a conveyancing qualification or actively working toward one (2 Years +)
