Residential Property Conveyancing Assistant

Our busy New Milton office requires an experienced Residential Property Legal Assistant.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Conveyancing, particularly with post-exchange and post-completion documentation as well as, completing pre-exchange searches, initiating Conveyancing transactions, and directly liaising with clients to update them on case progress and manage expectations.

With an ability to work under pressure and an eye for detail as well as good organisation and communication skills. You should possess a diligent work ethic, a positive outlook, and enjoy collaborative teamwork. The ability to excel in a high-pressure environment, adapting to evolving deadlines and priorities professionally, is essential.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Daily Conveyancing administration
  • Typing various documents
  • Managing client calls
  • Providing transaction quotations
  • Preparing post-exchange and post-completion documentation and submitting SDLT returns and Land Registry applications.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent IT proficiency

This is a full time, office based position (would consider 5 hours daily).

Experience: legal property assistant - 2 years (required).
