Job Title: Residential Conveyancing Assistant Paralegal
Location: Sutton Coldfield
Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 DOE

We here at Simpson Judge are looking to assist one of out national clients in their search for a new Residential Property Assistant that is able to work with minimal guidance when it comes to aiding a Senior Fee earner and small team. there for prior conveyancing experience and exposure is key.

Our client does have the ability for those who are interested to offer long term routes of progression but they would be seeking a minimum of 2 years of employment at the level prior to that becoming an option.

Responsibilities:

* Provide administrative and paralegal support to the solicitor dealing with residential conveyancing matters
* Assisting with the opening, progression and closure of residential conveyancing files
* Drafting and preparing legal documents and contracts
* Liaising with clients, estate agents and solicitors
* Preparing Land Registry applications
* Preparing completion statements
* Researching matters of law relevant to transactions
* Keeping up-to-date with changes in the law

Requirements:

* A minimum of two years'' experience in a similar role
* Knowledge and experience of residential conveyancing
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Excellent attention to detail
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
* Professional, friendly and approachable
