Hays Social Care is working with a well-established services and value led charity who deliver a Supported Living service to people with a range of complex disabilities based in Bangor.
Your new role
As the Registered Manager you will have responsibility for the day to day team leadership and management of all the staff within the facilities to enable an effective and efficient delivery of the service. You will work alongside supported accommodation services to provide support, advice or counselling to someone with particular needs always with a view to enabling that person to live independently within the community. You will deal with funding authorities / statutory bodies, including the RQIA, Health and Social Care Trusts, NISCC and the Northern Ireland Housing Executive as and when required. You will ensure that care village is compliant with all regulatory requirements including RQIA, have responsibility for the financial management and as such delivering services within agreed budget and funding parameters.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a confident leader, with experience of managing staff to include support and appraisal, performance management, recruitment and selection and formal investigations. You will be NISCC registered and hold a minimum of a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care Services, a minimum of 5 years experience working within a supported living, disability or domiciliary care service with clients who have complex disabilities- 2 of which years are within an operational managerial role.
You will have financial management, including managing a budget.
