An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lettings professional to join this privately-owned property company as a Residential Lettings / Property Manager.

Based in Battersea, this company is specialising in build to rent and working with a developer. They own a large number of properties throughout the capital and this role will involve ensuring their portfolio is let in the shortest time possible at the best price, while at the same time protecting long term value.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

• Managing the direct letting process from the point of application registration to completion of transaction
• You will be the professional contact pre & post move-in for tenants and contractors to ensure the properties are managed effectively during the course of the tenancy.

Key accountabilities:

• Lettings - Arranging and accompanying tenants on property viewings.
• Property Management - Ensuring all repairs and works are responded to and dealt with efficiently, from reporting to invoice settlement.
• Post Move-in - Dealing with all tenancy administration post move in, including any tenancy paperwork or invoicing.
• Client Liaison - Acting as a liaison between tenants, contractors and the client.
• Asset Management - Inspecting and recommending updates and repairs to the client to achieve best rents and renewals.
• Renewals - Negotiating and closing renewals to achieve best market renewal rents.
• End of Tenancies - Arranging all end of tenancy paperwork and preparing for re-marketing
• Customer Service - Offering exemplary customer service face to face, verbally and written.
• General - Generating reports as required, monitoring contractor performance and ensuring the property portfolio CRM is up to date for maximum efficiency.

Experience/skills:

• IT literate
• Minimum 3 years’ experience of managing a portfolio of residential properties
• Strong commercial acumen
• Problem solver and practical thinker
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Professional manner
• Positive and can-do attitude
• Possess great attention to detail
• Able to multi-task, prioritise, manage time and workload effectively
• Can work on own initiative.

The salary on offer for this role will be in the region of £30,000 to £40,000. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm.
