Job Title: Residential Conveyancer

Location: Greater Manchester

Salary: Up to £35,000

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Conveyancer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating property transactions, ensuring seamless processes and protecting the interests of our clients throughout the conveyancing process.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of residential property transactions from inception to completion.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on properties, including title searches, property surveys, and environmental searches.
  • Draft and review legal documents such as contracts of sale, transfer deeds, and mortgage documents.
  • Liaise effectively with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other stakeholders to progress transactions smoothly.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on property law, conveyancing regulations, and related matters.
  • Handle any issues or disputes that may arise during the conveyancing process, working diligently to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Conveyancer within a reputable law firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of property law, conveyancing procedures, and relevant legislation.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple transactions simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using conveyancing software and other relevant technology.
  • Qualified solicitor or licensed conveyancer preferred, but not essential.
