GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with an innovative and award-winning Legal firm in Gloucester who specialise in property related legal work and equity release.

Due to the continued growth and expansion, they are looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their dynamic team on a full time, permanent basis. On offer is a highly competitive salary dependent upon experience.

They are looking for truly passionate and self-motivated individuals who can build upon and directly input to the continued success of the business.

This position is Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm with remote working flexibility.

Successful candidates must be a qualified Solicitor, a Chartered Legal Executive or Licenced Conveyancer that can demonstrate a minimum of 3 years’ experience running a complex caseload of residential conveyancing matters.

Residential Conveyancer main duties:

  • You'll be comfortable handling a range of conveyancing including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, freehold, leasehold, sales and purchase transactions.
  • Provide technical legal guidance, support and supervision across all our transactional teams.
  • Ensure that the company provides a consistently high-quality level of service for clients and introducers alike in the team and that this is communicated clearly.
  • You must be able to demonstrate good technical conveyancing skills as well as the ability to work unsupervised within a friendly, well integrated team unit.
  • Managing own caseload through effective use of case management system.
  • Provide support and supervision to colleagues in the team.

Residential Conveyancer desired skills and experience:

Strong knowledge and experience in residential conveyancing, including;

  • Full range of sale, purchase, and remortgage matters.
  • Leasehold and lease extension work.
  • Equity release (advantageous, but not essential).
  • SDLT requirements including relevant reliefs and exemptions, in residential conveyancing matters.
  • Dealing with unregistered properties.
  • You must also have strong team management skills with the ability to develop, coach and mentor junior team members.
