Resettlement Team Manager to join their team. The role of
Resettlement Team Manager has a competitive pay rate of £270 Umbrella Paye.

Overview of Resettlement Team Manager role:

As the Resettlement Team Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day operations, shaping strategy, and executing plans to support families arriving and integrating into Harrow. This includes those under the Afghan Citizens' Resettlement Scheme (ACRS), the Afghan Relocation and Assistance Policy (ARAP), the Vulnerable Person Resettlement Scheme (VPRS), and the Homes for Ukraine Scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
1. External Collaboration: Work closely with external partners, including Refugee Resettlement at the Home Office, the Refugee Resettlement Team at the Greater London Assembly (GLA), DLUHC, and local voluntary and community sector partners. Your engagement will be at a senior level.
2. Internal Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-council stakeholders, including Housing, Health, Economic Development, and Education.
3. Staff Management and Development: Provide leadership, foster skill development, and share best practices within the team.
4. Data-Informed Decision-Making: Brief relevant Members and Senior Management on conditions faced by families arriving through various routes. Use data to inform policy decisions and lead internal discussions.
5. Budget Management: Ensure efficient resource allocation within agreed budgets.
6. Effective Communication: Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, producing high-quality briefings that convey a compelling narrative.
7. Expertise: Leverage detailed knowledge of local government processes, HR, data, and finance.
8. Team Leadership: Manage multi-disciplinary teams and drive service design and improvement efforts.
The successful candidate should possess the following:
