Research Administrator
£18.50 per hour - 35 hours per week
East London - Hybrid
Initial 4 month contract - possibility for extension

Randstad are delighted to be working alongside a renowned university based in East London. They are recruiting for a Research Administrator to join their Research Excellence team whose overall responsibility are to coordinate and maximise the quality of the university's submissions to the REF.

Duties:

  • Collating, checking, and preparing presentations for a range of research and UN SDG related data.
  • Help organise and promote events, workshops and activities to encourage a sustainable research culture, development goals and research profile.
  • Liaise with internal colleagues and wider university staff to investigate and report on their UN SDG work.
  • Creating reports and surveys on both past and future SDG-related activity.

Experience/Skills:

  • Though prior knowledge of UN Sustainability Goals is not a must, you should have an active interest and curiosity about research in general.
  • Able to quickly grasp a range of tasks and topics, comfortable liaising with a range of people.
  • IT proficiency including spreadsheets, presentations and creating reports.
