Job title: Reporting Manager

Location: Central London (hybrid working)

Salary: £80,000 - £85,000

Are you ready to take your finance career to the next level? Our client, a global network within the media sector, are in search of a dedicated and ambitious Finance Professional to join their team as a Reporting Manager.

This role is an excellent opportunity to broaden your skillset in the field of corporate finance, develop a team of qualified reports and play an integral role in the day-to-day finances of an award-winning and highly sought-after business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and management of the management reporting process, including crafting monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts
  • Develop and maintain management reporting frameworks
  • Review and approve journals prepared by the team in a timely and supportive manner
  • Be responsible for publishing reporting packages in the consolidation system, covering Flash, Actual, Corporate Social Responsibility, and year-end packages
  • Review monthly reporting packs and providing insightful commentary analysis on profit and loss variances and balance sheet intricacies
  • Ensure that balance sheet reconciliations are completed, reviewed, and signed off monthly,
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors
  • Actively manage a team of qualified accountants, providing regular guidance, goal and objective setting, feedback, performance reviews, and appraisals
  • Undertake various ad-hoc duties where required

The ideal candidate:

  • ACCA/ ACA qualified (essential for this role)
  • In-depth knowledge of the month-end process and a strong understanding of accounting standards, regulations, and frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Line management experience (essential)
