Salary: £37,000 – 43,500 (DOE)
BRC are working with a Reputable Housing Association who are based across the South West and South East to recruit a Response Repairs Surveyor based in Hampshire to support with general housing repairs and voids
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for surveying properties in relation to responsive repairs and void properties
- Carry out property inspections and investigate repair requests raised by customers, providing technical advice on defects including damp and mould issues
- Conduct property building surveys, providing advice on construction defects, disrepair and dilapidations
- Produce detailed reports on works required including works for remedial solutions
- Liaise with contractors to organise repair works to be carried out including planned maintenance delivery, minor works and refurbishments
- Carry out pre and post inspections of works and ensuring they are managed through to completion
- Ensure that works are carried out in-line with health and safety legislations
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, providing a high standard of customer service, providing advice and assisting with queries or complaints
- Undertaking void inspections and planning for repairs and cyclical decorations to be carried out
Job Requirements
- Driver with access to own vehicle
- Experience of surveying and/or professional qualification - HND/HNC
- Experience of monitoring works budgets and working in social housing
