BRC are working with a Reputable Housing Association who are based across the South West and South East to recruit a Response Repairs Surveyor based in Hampshire to support with general housing repairs and voids
  
Main Responsibilities:
 
  1. Responsible for surveying properties in relation to responsive repairs and void properties
  2. Carry out property inspections and investigate repair requests raised by customers, providing technical advice on defects including damp and mould issues
  3. Conduct property building surveys, providing advice on construction defects, disrepair and dilapidations
  4. Produce detailed reports on works required including works for remedial solutions
  5. Liaise with contractors to organise repair works to be carried out including planned maintenance delivery, minor works and refurbishments
  6. Carry out pre and post inspections of works and ensuring they are managed through to completion
  7. Ensure that works are carried out in-line with health and safety legislations
  8. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, providing a high standard of customer service, providing advice and assisting with queries or complaints
  9. Undertaking void inspections and planning for repairs and cyclical decorations to be carried out
  
Job Requirements
  • Driver with access to own vehicle
  • Experience of surveying and/or professional qualification - HND/HNC
  • Experience of monitoring works budgets and working in social housing
