We are seeking a Rents and Service Charge Manager for a remote 6-month contract with a reputable housing association. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the rent and service charge operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. This role is pivotal in providing excellent financial management and customer service.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Lead the rent and service charge team, ensuring all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
• Oversee the calculation, implementation, and administration of rents and service charges.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Liaise with various departments to ensure accurate and timely information is provided for service charge setting.
• Handle queries and provide resolutions related to rent and service charge issues.
• Prepare and present reports on rent and service charge performance to senior management.
• Implement continuous improvement strategies for rent and service charge processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Rents and Service Charge Manager or similar role within a housing association.
• Strong understanding of rent and service charge legislation and best practices.
• Excellent numerical and financial management skills.
• Proficient in using housing management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote setting.
