Our client, a West London Social Housing provider, is seeking to recruit a Rent Income Support Officer to join their Rent Income Team and provide excellent customer services to tenants across a multi channel contact centre.

As the Rent Income Support Officer you will be the first point of contact for resident's enquiries regarding current and former tenant rent and arrears. You will be expected to resolve as many queries as possible at the first point of contact, whilst providing individual sign posting based in the resident circumstance.

  • To act as the first point of contact, providing initial advice to residents regarding their rent account and rent arrears including annual rent increases and resolve directly the most frequent service requests by; telephone, email, web, and other social media channels.
  • Where appropriate signpost residents to the most suitable means of financial support depending on their circumstances (Welfare Benefit team for Housing Support Fund payments and Discretionary Housing Payments).
  • To capture accurate and detailed information to pass to the Rental Income Support Officer where a complex enquiry is made.
  • To carry out lower level arrears recovery / administrative duties as directed.
  • This is a hybrid role. 2 days a week in the office. 9am - 5pm
  • Part time role also available.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has excellent customer service skills and a solid understanding of rent recovery within a housing setting.
