Piper Maddox are working with a hugely exciting renewable energy developer who specialize in primarily solar and battery storage technology. With a highly stable investment backing and EPC partnership in place, it is a fantastic time to be joining up with their growing team.

With a targeted solar pipeline of 2GW, this company's land team has undergone significant growth recently and shows no signs of slowing down! They are on the lookout for a land manager to join the team to assist with sourcing land for their growing project pipeline. With in-house planning and engineering and development functions, there is a clear line of communication throughout the team.

Some key skills and experience that would lend themselves well to this position include: a high level of initiative when it comes to engaging with landowners to secure land deals, a proactive approach to land/development matters, and previous experience with renewable energy projects would be highly useful.

Key responsibilities in this role:

 Sourcing and identifying potential new land & development sites for utility scale renewable energy projects.
 Engaging landowners as well as managing external land agents throughout the project lifecycle.
 Working on the commercial negotiations relating to land including heads of terms, option lease agreements, and wayleaves.
 Stakeholder management with landowners as well as those in proximity to potential developments.
 Management and mentoring of more junior members of the land team.

You would be joining up with a collaborative and friendly team with a wide range of experience in the renewable energy sector. With sites across the UK, this role also offers the opportunity for frequent site visits and public consultation events.
