RS Teacher required to join a progressive Walsall Secondary School. Are you a QTS RS Teacher looking for a new and exciting opportunity within an outstanding Humanities Department? This busy school are looking to add an ambitious and driven RS Teacher to the team. A passion for all things RS and Ethics, and a love for teaching is essential for this role. The school have a small and dedicated team of RS Teachers, who are determined to inspire a love for RS and maintain the departments status as outstanding.
As a RS Teacher you will be hold full planning and marking responsibilities and teach across Key Stages 3 & 4 with some exposure to KS5. Behaviour is generally good, and there is a willingness to learn from most students. You will have access to a wide range of resources and the HOD is focused on providing a high level of support to all RS teachers. This role requires a teacher who has strong subject knowledge and is able to plan and deliver creative, engaging and inspiring lessons. You must be a QTS or ECT RS teacher to be considered for this role.
Job Role:
- Teaching across the RS curriculum to Key Stages 3, 4 & 5
- Leading GCSE RS booster sessions for students that require additional support
- Working in unison with the HOD and RS?Teachers to plan outstanding lessons
- Breaking down barriers to education and making RE accessible to all students
